How I ended up buying two dresses in one day from Portland Garment Factory's House Line is really a story about the magic of spontaneous shopping. The Skewed Gown is an irridescent midnight blue dress made from Cupro, a cellulose fiber made from recovered cotton waste. It has a silky luster, but breathes and regulates body temperature more like cotton. Its status as an eco fabric is debated because chemicals are used to process the cotton.
